Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
Anyone been or a member? Start a new job in the Wharf in a couple of weeks and thinking of joining. It's pricey, but does look the bollocks.

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
yeah I forgot to say that you get a 30 minute session with one of the fitness trainers every month. I just use that to vary my routine every 2 months.

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
You are entitled to a personal trainer once a month inc with the price. I have been a member herr for 8 years and also involved in the business side. I have not seen a level of investment in any other gym like they have had here, they are not scared to spend.

Many companies on CW subsidise your membership 50% anyway.

A few of WH players get in there, saw Kouyate in there the other day. Also saw that Rock fella Dwayne something recently with Graham Norton, bit weird!

also a member. It is expensive but the fact that it's right next to work means I actually go 3 or 4 times a week. Anytime outside 12-2 and 5-7 is really relaxed and even at the busy times its not that bad.

I'm looking to go before work - get there about 6:45am and do an hour. It should be reasonably quiet there at that time I'd have thought.

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
I'm a member there - get it part funded through work - would be too pricey otherwise.

Can get busy at peak periods but if you can be flexible and avoid those it's great.

whomail if you want more details

Goose- new virgin gym at Cannon St is £198 a month unless you get a corporate discount..... mind you, you get your shirts ironed for that as well !

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
did someone say it is £138 a month?? fucking hell.

i'm a gym bunny and can appreciate a great gym - but how can you justify that cost?? i'd want a personal trainer once a week for that money.

I'll be working at State Street on Churchill Place, so it's perfectly located. I've asked if they do corporate rates.

I hate all these modern Metrosexual gyms with men running on treadmills for fucking ages. The have them here , Pilates , Yoga some other Fitness" shit , all for about 80 quid a month.

Give me a Spit and sawdust gym with plenty of iron , no machines or treadmills or bikes or Toss trainers but a punch bag and pull up bar , Training in bare feet and not multi colored stupid fucking trainers with 3 inches under the heel to fuck your posture up

You know the weather spoons near bar 38, near Morgan Stanley? There is an industrial park over there. It's in one of the warehouses.

Just reading up on that iron training. Seems quite good and also notice they do triathlon swimming coaching. I think I maybe convincing myself to sack off the crossfit and rejoin the reebok. I can then swim every morning and either run, class or weights in the evening.

The swimming is key as I don't get round to going at home.

Re: Reebok Gym Canary Wharf
I'm not a member anymore as I have a gym in my building but I could cancel my membership here, not bother with the crossfit and join the reebok and save about 80 quid a month!
